A Generation of Rock Favorites
Due to unanticipated expenses beyond our budget, the broadcast signal will not be on the air until summer 2016.
River Valley Community Sports Network
River Valley Community Radio is establishing an online sports feed for local community sports. This will provide a means for supporters of local teams from T-Ball to Senior Aerobics to stay on top of the action. Some of the sports events may be carried on either 91.1 WMPF-LP FM or one of the low power AM stations we have planned for the region. If you are involved with a team or venue, please contact us to find out how your teams events can be be covered on the radio. At this time, we do not have announcers to provide, so you will need to find a member of your group who feels comfortable doing the announcing. This service is free of charge, though we reserve the right to solicit sponsors and to broadcast events over the radio. If you would like to have your games/events on the network, please contact Amanda Houston (firstname.lastname@example.org) for information on access and scheduling.
River Valley Public Affairs Network
As a public service we will be providing an Internet stream for municipal and community meetings. Over the next year we will be approaching towns and groups about providing either live or delayed coverage of their meetings. This is a good way to keep the community better engaged with your group and its activities/programs. When there are no meetings, local groups will have the service available for programming aligned with their purpose. As time and space permit, RVPAN programming may be carried on either 91.1 WMPF-LP FM or one of the low power AM stations we have planned for the region. The network coordinator for RVPAN is Amanda Houston (email@example.com).
